How to Make Your Own Cleaning Products

Having cleaning products in your home is a necessity if you want to maintain a clean home. However, you can clean your home on a small budget. There are everyday products around the house that you can use.

  1. Toothpaste is great for getting rid of crayon marks from walls.
  2. To clean fruit juice spillages from the carpet, sprinkle salt on the spillage then rinse later with cool water.
  3. Use hairspray to remove ink from fabric.
  4. Use vinegar and a little vegetable oil to clean a wooden floor.
(always test on a small area first)

  2. Hi Flyingstartmag,
    Thanks for your comment.
have you tried using a hair dryer to remove the wax? Once the wax is hard place a paper towel over it. Turn the hair dryer to the highest heat setting and direct it at the paper towel.
You will eventually see grease marks on the paper towel. Repeat again with another paper towel if all the wax didn't melt and absorb into the first paper towel. This should do the trick.
I'll be having weekly money saving tips so do check back.
